Do you know that working in the wrong posture for a long time (especially for office workers) can lead to muscle tension, disc herniation, and/or spinal curvature?
Because the spine is the attachment point for many muscles in the body, when the muscles attached to it are tense for a long time, the spine can be pulled to one side, and become curved slowly over time, which can eventually cause you to hunch over. When your spine is partially kept in the wrong position, a disc herniation may happen also, and it will cause back/neck pain, even headaches, and numbness in the arms/legs due to the nerves along the spine being compressed when the disc is misaligned.
Traditional Vietnamese massages (and some other kinds of massage) can help you release tension/pain points and thereby improve your working posture, mitigate the problems caused by disc herniation (if you have it), and limit spinal curvature.

Although massage can help you improve your health, we still think that the most important thing to do is to adjust and improve your working posture, and if possible, you should change your working posture regularly (instead of keeping the same posture for a long time, especially while working) to prevent diseases related to the musculoskeletal system. Prevention is always better than cure, right? 🙂
